History of BELFOR Franchise Group:
- 2002 – DUCTZ launches in Ann Arbor, Michigan as a residential indoor air quality business.
- 2007 – BELFOR Property Restoration acquires DUCTZ and BELFOR Franchise Group is formed.
- 2009 – HOODZ is formed and quickly becomes a leading kitchen and exhaust cleaning franchise.
- 2016 – 1-800 WATER DAMAGE, a property restoration business, is acquired.
- 2019 – Harris Research, Inc. is acquired, which includes the Chem-Dry and N-Hance brands. Z PLUMBERZ is formed, a plumbing business model built on multiple revenue streams. Blue Kangaroo Packoutz is formed, a franchise that restores items damaged in disaster events. WINMAR is also acquired, a restoration company based in Canada.
- 2020 – The Patch Boys, a successful drywall repair franchise, is also acquired.
- 2021 – redbox+ Dumpsters is acquired, a dumpster rental franchise with a patented solution.
- 2022 – Safer Home Services is acquired, a unique pest control company. COOL-BINZ is acquired, a first-to-market climate-controlled storage bin franchise. 1-800-BOARDUP is also acquired, a national disaster recovery organization.
- 2024 – JUNKCO+ is acquired and formed into a franchise offering junk removal and demolition services
